Shaams has over 16 years experience in Administration, Operations and Marketing Management.

Passing out from Jhenidah Cadet College in 1983 subsequently he graduated in Commerce from Dhaka University in 1987 and later on while working in Tea Plantation achieved a Post Graduate Diploma from Bangladesh Institute of Management. He secured the 1st position with distinction in PGDTM and a subsequently awarded Colombo Plan Scholarship for higher management training abroad in Kothari Agricultural Management Centre, Nilgiris, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu, India and again achieved 1st position in the overseas course

He began his career in 1990 as an Assistant Manager in the Tea Estates of Duncan Brothers (BD) Limited; a UK based Multi-National tea company Corporate Head Quarter in Wrotham Place, Wrotham, Sevenoaks, Kent, TN 15 – 7AE, UK, the largest shareholder of tea production and marketing in Bangladesh.

As a Covenanted Plantation Manager in the Tea Estates his responsibility covered Human Resource Management, plantation management including environment and ecology, local government issues, financial management, budgetary control and management, staff welfare management and factory hazard & risk management.

He achieved Master level certifications on Computer Fundamentals (Win 95/98) and MS Windows 98 Navigation and certifications on MS Word 2000 and Computer Electronics from Brainbench, USA through online examination.

Moreover, after leaving tea plantation employment in 2000, he has diversified his career and experienced in Human Resource Management, Staff Recruitment, Performance appraisal and Evaluation, Business Development, Operations segment.

He has generated Foster Beer Market as a Brand Development Manager of world renowned Brewery Industry Foster’s Brewing International, Australia’s Bangladesh agent. He has also initiated Zippo Lighter of Zippo Manufacturing Co. USA in Bangladesh Market.

He has experience in Real Estate sector and Tours and Hotel sector as General Manager of a leading Real Estate company having stakes in Hotels and tourism in Cox’s Bazar and St. Martins Island.

Presently he is sharing his experience with Ambient Media Bangladesh Limited and responsible for Administration, Human Resources, Customer Relations, Corporate Sales and Business Development

He is an active member of JEXCA-alumni organization of Jhenidah Cadet College since 1986 having life member ship since 1996. He was Organizing Secretary of JEXCA in 1988-90
